Chapter 466 - A Walking Nuke

Chapter 466: A Walking Nuke

The Caucasian man looked old and frail. Boundless devil qi emanated from his being as he attempted to control the demons around him.

Although he was a hell summoner who can control demons, he would never become powerful enough to control so many of them. In reality, he could only control some of them, allowing the rest to do as they pleased.

That old Caucasian man flashed a frenzied smile as if he could see into a future when the demons ruled over Earth.

“Lu Xuan.”

That old man’s frenzied expression changed at the sight of Lu Xuan, not quite sure if his eyes were betraying him.

He had even blinked several times to make sure that he was not just seeing things. Eventually, he confirmed that the man standing far away was indeed none other than Lu Xuan.

“How is this possible!?”

That old man was in disbelief, unable to fathom how Lu Xuan was able to survive.

The truth was that there had been people looking for Lu Xuan for the past several years. It was not just those from the Yunxuan Villa or the officials from the Region of Huaxia.

Other people kept searching for him as well.

Lu Xuan had disappeared without a trace only to reappear a while later several times. That alone was enough to show everyone that there was just no way one could easily believe that Lu Xuan had just perished.

However, no one was able to find Lu Xuan for the past several years. There was not even any news about him.

They searched for him throughout all of Australia, which was once considered the battlefield in the past.

They even dug deep into the battlefield at ground zero, but they were unable to find any trace of him at all; not even a single torn limb or anything was left of them.

All that remained back there was Ao Chen’s dead body.

Eventually, everyone concluded that Lu Xuan had indeed perished. Considering that the terrifying explosion was massive enough to kill someone like Ao Chen, it was simply impossible for Lu Xuan to have survived.

That was what many people thought.

Upon confirmation of this fact, many from the Region of America then began to work against the Yunxuan Villa. Together, they tried to tear down that sacred ground for cultivation that had been put on a pedestal for years.

That sacred ground still had a major presence even while Lu Xuan was gone, capable of intimidating several other organizations and forces.

However, there was still a fundamental difference between Lu Xuan being present and him being absent.

No one even dared to do anything against the Yunxuan Villa while Lu Xuan was around. After all, the man went all the way to the US just to teach the White House a lesson back then, going so far as to have even killed their leaders. They had not been able to pull off any plan that was not already a secret from him; they did not even dare to talk about him in broad daylight.

While the Yunxuan Villa was still very intimidating without Lu Xuan around, it was still no longer scary enough to hold them back.

That was the biggest difference between his presence and his absence.

Lu Xuan was widely regarded several years ago as something equivalent to a walking nuke that nobody dared to stand against.

At the very least, that was the case before anyone was confident enough to even have thought of doing so.

Several countries had agencies that specialized in gathering intelligence on Lu Xuan. They had gathered so much information on him that if the data were printed as hard copies, they could fill skyscrapers.

They had been gathering data ever since he was born. Thus, it was only natural that this information included the methods that he trained in and any weaknesses that he had.

The more they looked into it, the more depressed they became. They were unable to find any of Lu Xuan’s weaknesses at all; the only thing that could even be remotely considered a weakness was his family.

Then again, his family members were all formidable cultivators that were ranked to be among the best in the world. Thus, it would’ve been just as difficult to take them on.

To make matters worse, none of them left the country. As a result, it would’ve also been difficult to get them to fight outside of the Region of Huaxia.

The situation had been nowhere near encouraging at all.

After all, it was nearly impossible for anyone to take on an enemy that had no weaknesses.

People across the world could breathe a sigh of relief only after Lu Xuan appeared to have died alongside Ao Chen. They felt as if the Sword of Damocles hanging over their heads had finally disappeared. There would’ve been no need to worry about him coming after any of them.

Even then, it took years before any of those people dared to plan against the Yunxuan Villa.

That old man was the one to eventually pull the trigger.

However, Lu Xuan had actually survived. To make matters worse, he looked to have never been better before.

That was something that could’ve made anyone shudder.

That old man looked panicked. As long as Lu Xuan remained the top expert in the world, there was simply no way for cultivators like them to ever amount to anything. People like them would’ve remained like rats scurrying about the gutters, not daring to even appear in public.

It would’ve been all because they were afraid of Lu Xuan noticing them.

However, his frenzied expression quickly returned as he shouted, “Lu Xuan! You may have returned, but what could you do? Today’s the day that the Yunxuan Villa will be torn down! No one would be able to withstand the formidable might of Hell! Hell is the only thing that is eternal! The only one who could ever reign supreme was the Devil himself!”

“Kill him!”

That old man then commanded the demons from Hell that he was able to control, sending them charging at Lu Xuan. Although there were over a hundred of them, there still weren’t as many of them as other beings rampaging elsewhere.

All of the demons from Hell were tall, imposing, and swift. Common folks would have most likely been paralyzed with fear just seeing those things around.

On the other hand, Lu Xuan simply chuckled as he put his index and middle fingers together. A blast of sword aura emerged from his fingers right away. That one blast was more than able to do away with all the demons charging towards him.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

All of the demons caught in the wake of that sword aura were quickly reduced to blasted flesh spraying all over the place. They couldn’t even get close to him before then.

That blast of sword aura that he brought about packed unimaginable levels of force.

“No way!”

That old man stared at the scene before him with a blank expression. He couldn’t believe that the demons that he had painstakingly summoned were completely useless against Lu Xuan.

Lu Xuan was actually able to kill them all with just a single attack.

However, all that bloodshed simply drew in even more demons from Hell. One by one, they soon began climbing out of the rift.

Hundreds to nearly a thousand of those low-level demons filled the place in no time, as they went on to charge at Lu Xuan.

The demons were mostly at the Airborne Realm level of powers, with some being at the Celestial Realm and even the most powerful ones being at the Divine Treasure Realm. They were not all that unbelievably powerful, but their numbers were so staggering that they filled the entire place.

The army was massive enough to have blocked out the sky.

“Hahahaha. This is the end for you, Lu Xuan. I don’t care if you’re the most powerful in the whole wide world. There’s just no way you could deal with this many demons when Hell has an endless supply of them. It doesn’t matter how powerful you are; it’ll only be a matter of time before they overwhelm you!”

That old man’s face retained its frenzied expression, seemingly having found a way to take on Lu Xuan.

It was true that Lu Xuan was so strong that people could’ve considered him to be at an insane level of power.

After all, that old man had never heard of anyone throughout history who was capable of intimidating the entire world at such a young age.
