Chapter 475 475: 7th Floor Welcome IV

Cole could not rely on the power of his body, and that was mainly for the fact that there was no gravity, he was out here in space….and then it dawned on him that for a while he had his helmet down….how was that possible, he had seen the open vacuum of space and there was no gravity he should –

"All this thinking is giving me a headache master, you are an evolved being, an ascended being. A Devil, a newly lifted Devil, but a devil none the less. If you can\'t do something as simple as surviving in the vacuum of space without air then, that would be a big shame to the Raen race."

*Pew-pew pew-pew*

Cole used Gravity to throw himself forwards, a corona of golden light gleaming from his body as he utilized it. He vaulted over a car and over a ravine in the ground that opens up into chaos of space. He landed on the other side and took three lasers to the back of his he\'d and his back, the flung him forwards and through the half ruined glass windows of the convenience store. Cole grunted as rolled with his inertia and got back to his feet to keeping running down and isle.

This used to be a clothing store, but most if not all of everything that used to be here had been ruined. Cole noticed an open vent at the end of the isle, he turned and use Gravity, flung a chaotic mess of it into the store that began to whip the hangers and remains of clothing all over the store, creating a chaotic space that created enough diversion for him to slide into the vent, closing it behind himself as he slid down a chute.

Cole traveled for a good 20 seconds, giving him a significant amount of distance before he was blasted out into the power levels of the colony. Without a doubt this had to be a ruined colony, and usually the lower levels are set aside for waste management and cleaning, along with maintenance and convenience. Like the Laundromat, electricians and other things.

In short the lower levels was the work station of the colony. The place responsible for keeping the colony afloat. Cole landed in bin filled with long forgotten clothes, and a few corpses. They were frozen stiff, and had been like that for a very long time.

He looked around, the lower levels seemed to be abandoned, but it won\'t be right to count his chickens before they hatch. For one the lower levels covered the entirety of the colony, so he wasn\'t seeing everything, but regardless this part of the level was devoid of life, mechanical or otherwise.

Cole flipped himself out of the bin, and immediately noticed what had to be a massive industrial washing machine. It was the size of a house, and had a massive metal door that was slightly apart.

[Erasure]

His form vanished, as he allowed Lyren to take back his gun. He had no idea what the creature left behind in this colony were, but right now his biggest worry was Azrael and his hunt. And the gun hasn\'t proven to be as effective in taking care of the assassin as Cole would have wanted. He needed his blade.

The sheathed sword held in his hand, Cole made his way to the washer and slipped inside, dragging it behind himself until it shut with a loud clang and a click. He turned around worried as Lyren said.

"You just locked us in here master…..not cool."

"Come of it Lyren, we can get through if we want to, let\'s just catch our breath and see what we\'re dealing with." Cole said to the pup as he shifted his attention to the insides of the washer.

It was piled high with clothes, and it was extremely huge. Cole felt the urge to burrow into those clothes, like the forth he and his brothers used to make with pillows and clothes as children. Those were simpler times, and life made sense then, not now when every moment could be your last.

Cole quickly found a corner as he sat down and took a deep breath. He was annoyed, he had run for his life before, but never against another aspirant. It bruised his ego, he knew on a normal day he would not be so much on the backdoor, but be the one dishing the pain and psychological games.

He didn\'t know it, but Cole was now wholly focused on Azrael. It didn\'t matter that it was the system that had sent him to kill Cole. Cole would not back down, he needed to win against this guy or it would be a shadow in his heart for a very long time. Saying he was feeling humiliated was an understatement, someone had forced him, the great World Breaker to run.

First things to do would be to get his ego in check, he wasn\'t as great as he thought he was, even amongst his own people. There was still a long road to travel to be the best and Cole was more than willing to do anything to make sure that happens, and first on that list is to kill the assassin that was now hunting him.
